This document describes the new product release of theOrCam MyEye 3 Pro.
The OrCam MyEye 3 Pro includes all of the features of its predecessor, the OrCam MyEye 2 Pro:

In addition to all these features, we are now adding our latest advancement, TheOrCam Smart Magnifier with the AI assistantforOrCam MyEye 3 Pro.

A new Smart Magnifier web application
Digitally magnify documents up to 20X larger
An Integrated AI assistant, including our “Just Ask” technology

The new OrCam Smart Magnifier web app now includes an assistant based on AI ( artificial intelligence). It will give afirst description, summarize any text you capture,and let youinteractwith the AI Assistant on the text and beyond it in any way you likeby asking open questions in natural language. We call it the“Just Ask”feature. It can also answer any question unrelated to the text, for example: “Who was the first man who walked on the moon?”.
Connect the OrCam MyEye 3 Pro with a micro USB cable to your computer (Windows or Mac)
Press the button in the center of the bottom bar.
The browser will ask for permission to access your camera and microphone. Please allow these permissions, as they are necessary for the application to work correctly.
The OrCam Magnifier will capture an image from the camera, extract the text, and then give you a summary of the text.
You can ask the OrCam Assistant any follow-up questions about the text or even unrelated ones.
To read the text out loud, press the “audiobook” icon
Pressing it will switch the bottom bar to a “play” bar
Wired connection using a micro USB cable
Now, you can connect the OrCam MyEye 3 Pro to your computer using a micro USB cable to use the Magnifier more effortlessly.
Use the supplied magnetic USB cable to connect the OrCam MyEye 3 Pro to your computer and use the Smart Magnifier.
Note that the connection is sensitive, so do not move the cable while connected to the Smart Magnifier.
Upload files
The Smart Magnifier allows you to upload files that contain text and read them using the Magnifier. The supported file types are *.docx(Microsoft Word documents), *.pdf, *.txt, and image files: *.jpg, *.png, and *.webp.
How to use:
Press the + button on the left side toolbar.
Select a file from your computer.
The Magnifier will read the text from the file and display it on the screen.
Download files
You can now download all the content that appears in the Magnifier app, which includes:
The image of the text you captured
Copy the extracted text to your clipboard
Download the transcription audio file in MP3 format
How to use:
Press the down-arrow icon found on the left side toolbar
Select the item you want to download from the menu.
